Piscina Mirabilis : Light Well Competition
The revitalization of a Roman, subterranean reservoir uses the eroded voids of the ancient roof to create “light wells”. These wells organized the forms of new amenities that cap the restoration of the reservoir as a new contemporary museum. The tapestry of material in the design is a contemporary translation of traditional Roman Masonry methods.
NY A.R.K. Competition
New York A.R.K. is the center for environmental Advocacy, Research, and Knowledge for the city and surrounding region. It is a vessel for dialogue with the public about the environmental priorities of twenty first century, coastal New York City. Using a site in Queens, it re-builds the coastline and adds a dramatic new form to anchor the site.
Marfa House Competition
Marfa has become an international art destination. It has also become unaffordable to many who work in Marfa and the border. Marfa House is a community of neighborhoods formed under one roof that challenges the traditional city planning model to create more density without losing the connection to community and landscape.

The Center for Architecture, Design, and Education (CADE) is a pairing of two buildings, one solid and one transparent, that are configured as “windows” into the individual and collaborative learning that is the foundation of the discipline of architecture. The building celebrates Chicago’s past and future.

It empowers middle class families to raise a family and stay connected to their neighborhoods through the use of pre-fabricated, sustainable urban-row-house additions that enables homeowners to add 25% more square footage to their home while paying 25% less for construction.
